ALTENPFLEGE Success story

ALTENPFLEGE has been the leading event in the care sector for 35 years and is primarily aimed at managers, care service managers, operators of care facilities and professional carers.

ALTENPFLEGE was first launched in 1990 and has since developed into one of the most important events in the care sector. Originally, the trade fair was held annually, alternating between the Nuremberg and Hanover exhibition centres. Since 2021, Messe Essen has been added as a new location, meaning that the event now alternates between Essen and Nuremberg every year.

Every year the trade fair attracts thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors, who present the latest developments and innovations in the care sector. It is a central meeting place for experts, decision-makers and care professionals to network, learn and do business.
