When you make a binding application to be an exhibitor, you will receive our marketing services such as:

Online profile including a company profile and two product/service profiles
Entry of the company name and stand number in the hall plans on the website
Use of the TicketCentre incl. free electronic voucher codes for personal invitations to your customers and voucher monitoring
Online advertising banners and digital assets for download
Link from the trade fair website to the exhibitor website. The exhibitor places a backlink.
Display of your press information in the Press Center
Entry of the exhibitor's company name and stand number in the trade fair guide

All included marketing services as well as additional exclusive marketing services can be found at "Marketing Services".

The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) charges a fee of EUR 0.60 per square metre of exhibition space for the representation of your interests.

NürnbergMesse GmbH collects the corresponding amount to forward it to the AUMA.

Use the SelfService in your personal exhibitor area to autonomously update and further optimise the contents of your online profile. Within a few minutes, you can edit the content of your company profile or product/service profiles quickly and easily at any time.

As ALTENPFLEGE is purely a trade fair, the sale of exhibition goods at the stand is not permitted.

FAQ for visitors

Admission requirements

ALTENPFLEGE is reserved for professionals from the developments, products and services relating to inpatient and outpatient care sector. As a visitor, you do not have to prove your industry affiliation, however. Please note that – as at all trade fairs – a direct sale to end consumers is not possible.

Travel and services on-site

Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen

Signs to the exhibition centre will guide you easily to our grounds, where you will find ample parking spaces. From there, you can easily reach MESSE ESSEN on foot.

Outside exhibition and event periods, the parking fee is EUR 2 per hour or part thereof, up to a maximum of EUR 12 per day.

Barrier-free access

The exhibition venue is accessible to wheelchair users. Get further information on services and useful travel information for people with disabilities.

Thanks to the excellent motorway network, you can easily reach MESSE ESSEN in your own motorhome.

In the south of Essen – located on the Ruhr and Lake Baldeney – there are two campsites where you can park your motorhome during your visit to the trade fair.

DCC Campsite at Lake Baldeney

The Baldeneysee campsite offers a wonderful view of the water. The site is open all year round and has a garden restaurant, restaurant and kiosk. The sanitary facilities are suitable for disabled and children. The nearest town is about four kilometres away.

KNAUS Campingpark Essen-Werden

In the Werden district of Essen, right on the Ruhr, there is a campsite close to the city yet surrounded by greenery, with paved MoCa pitches, 100 tourist pitches and 180 permanent pitches.

Essen Werden is a small district with a historic old town, half-timbered houses and cobbled streets. When the weather is good, the Ruhr and Lake Baldeney are ideal for a walk, a boat trip or a round of mini golf. Thanks to excellent local transport connections – the S-Bahn is only a few minutes' walk from the site – the campsite is a good starting point for visiting the trade fair and the city of Essen.

A shuttle service from Düsseldorf Airport to Messe Essen is only offered for international events organised by Messe Essen. From the main railway station to Messe Essen, take the U11 towards Messe Ost / Gruga-Halle; the journey takes only 5 minutes.

The journey time from Düsseldorf Airport to Essen main railway station takes between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the connection.

Unfortunately, there are no public lockers in the area occupied by ALTENPFLEGE. If necessary, please use the cloakroom.

As a visitor, you are online free of charge throughout the exhibition venue.

Lost property will initially be stored at our exhibitor service desk (service@messe-essen.de) and transferred to the Essen Lost Property Office after one week: www.essen.de/leben/sicherheit_und_ordnung/fundbuero.de.html

The Essen Lost Property Office also has an online lost property portal: FunduS Portal.

No, there are no direct sales.

Tickets & vouchers

Tickets sales and voucher redemption will take place exclusively online. Register in our online TicketShop to purchase your entrance ticket or redeem your voucher code in advance. Tickets cannot be purchased on-site, neither can voucher codes be redeemed on-site.

After you have successfully placed your order (confirmation message "Thank you for your order"), you will receive your e-ticket by e-mail. You can also find it in your account by clicking on "View my tickets".

In many countries, the International Sales Partners of NürnbergMesse are available for ticket sales, as well as for the provision of information about visas.
